Honda Civic Wagon Concept to Debut at Geneva

Honda Civic Wagon Concept to Debut at Geneva

6 February 2013

Honda today revealed its 2013 Geneva Motor Show line-up with two new concept cars, and the CR-V featuring the new 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine.

Honda Civic wagon concept model

The Civic wagon concept model provides strong cues for the exterior design of the final mass produced version. This new Civic derivative will further strengthen the Civic range, which has recently been significantly boosted in Ireland by the launch of a new 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine.

Evolution of Honda NSX Concept

The new Honda NSX Concept, making its European debut, suggests a potential direction for the next-generation NSX’s interior design.

The exterior design stays remarkably true to the original concept styling, maintaining its low and wide stance with the dynamic and alluring proportions that are highlighted by clean, modern and simple surfacing, and edgy details that communicate supercar attitude and a high-tech feel.

CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC

The CR-V will join the Civic in offering Honda’s new Earth Dreams Technology 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine. The CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC will be available in two-wheel drive, with manual transmission, providing an exceptional balance of performance and economy. The 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine is the lightest engine in its class, helping the CR-V to deliver energetic performance, agile handling and low running costs for customers. The CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC will be available from Autumn 2013.
